Angel Broking ties up with ING Vysya
Angel Broking Ltd will invest `18 crore to launch a demand-cum-trading account for the Bangalore based ING Vysya Bank Ltd. The two companies signed the agreement in Mumbai on Wednesday in this regard.
The alliance is targeting 35,000 customers in the first six months with 50 branches in the first phase. ING has 2 million customers while Angel has 800,000 clients currently.
India’s Nov iron ore exports fall 30.6%
India's iron ore exports in November dropped 30.6% from a year earlier to 8.01 million tonnes, data from the Federation of Indian Mineral Industries (FIMI) showed on Wednesday.
Exports during the April November period were at 54.58 million tonnes, down 15.7% from 64.74 million tonnes a year ago, FIMI data showed.
Tata Power signs deal with Gujarat
Tata Power Co. Ltd on Wednesday announced that it has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with the state-owned Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd for its upcoming 25MW solar photovoltaic power project at Mithapur in Gujarat.
Tata Power is scheduled to commission the Mithapur project by December 2011, the company said in a statement.
The firm which had set up its first solar power plant of 100kW in 1996 at Walwhan in Lonavla, is also executing a 3MW solar photovoltaic plant at Mulshi in Maharashtra. S
