KKR eyes small stakes in India Firms
Global private equity major Kohl berg Kravis Roberts and Co. (KKR), which has invested about $1 billion (`4570 crore) in India, on Friday said it would prefer picking up small stakes in Indian family owned firms rather than hunting for outright buyouts.
Addressing a business session on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting in Davos, KKR cofounder and cochairman Henry Kravis said he would prefer that his firm becomes “partners“ with a growing number of Indian companies.
