Q.1- Why did you choose this profession?
Ans. I can say that it is just by luck that I am a doctor, because my father was not supportive enough for my further studies outside the village. Therefore I tried to convince my uncle, who was a lecturer in Raipur at that time. It is because of my self determination and confidence that I am here in front of you.
Q.2- What did you like the most and least in your profession?
Ans. First the least one is – using this profession “Doctor” as a business for money making.
And the most liked one is – in rural areas the people used to treat doctor as the second god(as per my experience)
Q.3- What did you like to do for stress relief?
Ans. Generally morning walk and sometimes yoga and meditation too.
Q .4- What would you say about commercialization in Health care sector?
Ans. Yes, it is very much true. We can take examples of our private hospitals, which are losing their human values day by day only due to this commercialization. I can tell u a real example in dead body of a girl, until the family paid the total amount of her treatment so, here you can see the level of commercialization.
Q .5- What influenced you to choose this career?
Ans. Actually, I want to serve the society. My father was Vaidya in my village, I really like the way people used to bless him. So I decided to go for MBBS.
Q.6- According to you what measures should be taken by the govt. to provide medical facilities and awareness in rural areas?
Ans. In my opinion, the problem related to health in rural areas are because of the lackness from both the sides, from people as well as from the govt.. The govt. is providing one PHC (primary health center) over a population of 30,000 which is although less in number but still people are not taking the facilities even e.g The parents are still not following the proper chain of vaccination which are provided to them for free.
And about the measures that are to be taken by govt. may include increase in the number of basic health workers and should appoint them only from the village itself so, that they will act as a model and they will be more influential. One more thing is to train the worker properly and updating them at regular intervals.

Q.7- From your perspective, what is the biggest problem in health sectors in Indian villages?
Ans- In my whole work life, I have experienced that the basic problems in villages, are lack of specialist doctors. I too worked as “jack in all trades”. I was working as a physician, cardiologist, dentist altogether.
Q.8- Do you think that the doctors should get retirement after 60 years because in your profession the experience matters more?
Ans- Yes, very true. In our profession old is gold. The more experience you have, more easily you can diagnose the disease. But after certain age, the retirement is also necessary, but the retirement age should increase ……about 65 years.
Q.9- How much Yoga & Meditation are beneficial for people?
Ans- Actually, today life is too busy and everyone has lots of mental stress & pressure. So, they don’t have much time for health care therefore yoga is far much beneficial for them.
Q.10-According to you ,are junk food affecting future backbone of our country?
Ans- In our times we used to get pure and fresh but now even the food is adulterated, the children are moving towards junk and fast food. That increases the health problems in children. So, it is highly affecting the young generation and kids as well.
Q.11- It is a general perception that when anyone goes to a doctor once, he enters into a vicious circle which never ends. How far it is true?
Ans- Actually this is only a trick of doctors to make more money. They prescribe those medicines which make patients dependent for further consultation. But it is not true in all the cases.

Q.12- Does ethics matter for doctors? What’s your opinion?
Ans- I can only say that now a day’s money matters more. Even doctors have lost their humanity. You are talking about ethics but doctors are forgetting the oath they take to serve the society and mankind without greed. It is hard to say but it is true that doctors are crossing their limits.
Q.13- Your valuable suggestions for society ……
Ans- People should bring some adaptations in their routine such as morning walk, yoga, meditation, exercise should be regular. Smoking, drug addiction, fast food, etc. should beavoided. As per growing age the people should take care for their diets as low salt, milk twice in a day, light dinner etc…..so use Pure & be Healthy.
Q.14- What do you think that why there are lack of facilities in the rural areas?
Ans- I think that today everyone wants growth and development in his life and as I belong to the rural area I know that there are no proper chances for growth so doctors also don’t want to go in that area.
Q.15- If you get a chance to switch your job in any other sector what will you prefer?
Ans- I will definitely don’t want to switch over to other sector because as a doctor I have got a lot of respect in the society and I think that this is one of the easiest way to serve the society.
