India may allow entry of Pakistan banks

India is considering to allow New Delhi: India is considering to allow Pakistani banks to open branches in the country, and Pakistan is set to reciprocate for strengthening bilateral trade. A common view was expressed by commerce ministers of the two countries at a Ficci meeting on Thursday.
“The Reserve Bank of India and the State Bank of Pakistan have already discussed this matter and will take the next step”, commerce and industry minister Anand Sharma said.
Samsung leads India tablet market

Samsung India Electronics Pvt. Ltd leads the country's tablet computer market with a 45% share, leaving Apple Inc. at third spot with an 18.4% claim, CyberMedia Research says in a new report.
ResearchinMotion's BlackBerry Playbook device has a 21% share.
About 158,000 tablet computers were sold in India in the nine months to 30 June, the media research firm said in its report published on Thursday.
Apple popularized tablet computers globally with its hugely successful iPad, launched in India in January. Samsung released its Galaxy Tab in India last October and added an upgrade recently.
Overall, India has 27 tablet computer models from 10 firms.
“Currently, the India media tablets market has many more models available with a range of features and at a variety of price points, compared with six months ago,“ said Anirban Banerjee, associate vice president, research and advisory services, CyberMedia Research. “However, for the tablet to become a common man's device, usage tariffs for high speed data services need to be brought down even further, along with useful and relevant content for the Indian consumer.
