Boon Or Bane ?

Man proposes, God disposes. People whom we trust, mostly deceive us and people with whom we have no expectations, often come to our rescue in odd times. Incidents about which we feel so bad and take them as misfortune, in many cases turn out to be ‘blessing in disguise’ & vice versa. At many occasions in our life, when we look back in retrospection, we get confused as to that particular incident was a boon for us on a bane.
This is a true incident that happened with my friend in Mumbai. He had to attend an important meeting and he reached the station. Knowing the condition in Mumbai, somewhere in the midst of that maddening crowd trying to get into the local train, he lost his spectacles. No sooner he got down to pick them up, the unrelenting crowd pushed him back and he was left behind at the station. He couldn’t board the train. He struggled hard to get in but just couldn’t. He was too irritated as the next train was pretty late. It was with great difficulty that he had fixed up that appointment, but now, he was helpless. He was blaming the day for the mishap. In a short while, he came to know that there was a bomb explosion in the same train which he had missed and many people had died in the same. He was absolutely dumb-founded when he heard that. Just a moment ago, he was grumbling and complaining and now he was shell-shocked! He couldn’t utter a single word ! This was the day he marked as the beginning of a new life.
Missing the train - a boon or a bane ?
World’s great orator Dale Carnegie wanted to be a football player. But due to his height, he couldn’t get the desired opportunities and so he dropped the idea of football totally. He would always complain to God about his shortcoming. He regarded height as an inadequacy but later his own fame and reputation as a author & speaker reached tremendous heights!!
THE INABILITY TO PLAY FOOTBALL -boon or bane ?
Once a king went hunting with his minister and other people. Suddenly a pointed, sharp thistle cut off his finger. His minister consoled him by saying that may be God willed it so and it was a part of His design, so it could even be a good omen. This was no consolation for the king. Highly annoyed, he ordered the minister to be put behind bars.

He argued that the minister would be set free if nothing untowardly happened to the king and he would even be weighed in gold. But if there was a mishap, the minister would be imprisoned for life.
The next day, the king lost his way in the jungle and landed in the midst of a tribe. They were preparing for a sacrifice and were overjoyed to see the king. They had found the object of their sacrifice. As they led him to the altar, one of them noticed the decollated finger of the king. He cried out loudly that the goddess would be offended by such an execution. It was this deformity that proved a life- saving grace for the king.
FINGER CUT......... BOON OR BANE?
Friends, many a times there are such incidents happening in life that we want to cry our whole life out for them. We feel that everything has ended for us. We start questioning the intentions of God and are intrigued as to why we have to face these innumerable hindrances!  You have all heard the old adage, “Whatever happens, happens for the good!” Now you have to start believing it. When your sincere and devoted efforts don’t pay off, you must analyze the reasons for that and find out the solution but you should never consider everything finished, the simple reason being that God has planned a better design for you and has a brighter fate in store for you!
You have to stick to one promise “Work hard determinedly in the right direction.” You need to work, results will follow automatically. Any such problem that bogs you down today might open the  door of glittering success  for you tomorrow.
What happened, why with me only, if only it had been the other way, and, why me? You will have to dump all such thoughts because the bane of today can turn out to be the blessing for tomorrow and vice-versa.
When Dawood Ibrahim was in Mumbai, all his distant  relatives proclaimed to be his near and dear ones. He wielded power over the entire city and this helped them to get their things done easily. Mumbai bomb blasts turned the scenario upside down. The police had sealed his entire property and almost all the relatives were put behind bars. The same person now was the cause of their downfall.
This simply goes on to say that the things in life which you term unwelcome and believe to be jinxed, those same things might change the face of your future.

So please believe in the will of the Supreme Being! Give your 100%!! Do single-heartedly whatever you are doing!!
