FAILURE DOES NOT MEAN THE END OF LIFE
As I write this article, certain important questions crop up in my mind -
  • Who is responsible for turning a man into failure, others or  he himself?
  • If one does not utilize the given opportunity, who is to be blamed, others or he himself?
  • If one is leading an ordinary life despite being capable of carving an  extraordinary eventful life, who should be blamed, others or he himself ?
  • Someone who does work half-heartedly and then he meets depression at the end, who  is responsible, others or he himself ?
  • If one is a die-hard pessimist and terribly unenthusiastic towards life, who is to be   blamed, others or he himself ?
  • Someone who is complacent and blames the whole thing on destiny, thereby ruining this precious life, who is to be blamed, others or he himself ?
It is my firm conviction that no other man can cheat you the way you cheat your own self  No one else is responsible for your failure except you yourself !

After facing few debacles and failures, one falls victim to inferiority complex and turns into a coward. He is unable to see that success and failure are the two sides of the same coin. And also that they are an inseparable part of  human life. He can’t even find the causes which bring his downfall so he brands himself as a loser. He starts believing that he was born to be a loser and that others are much better than him.

Friends,  I do not intend to delve deep into the reasons for mishaps and failures. I just want to tell you that despite everything that happened to you, however much an undesirable life was meted out to you, your world has not come to a dead end, a stop. Your value as a human being is still intact and unsevered. Nobody has the right to dump you as a piece of junk, nobody at all.

You can again reach your goals, you can be firm footed in your convictions. Your past is meaningless to me, what is important is your vision of the future. I can cite examples of numerous people who were written-off by the world. They were a scorned lot but it was their determination that aided them to find their wings. The same people who had criticized them earlier eulogized them.
No night is so dark that can hide or enwrap the sun forever. Gold remains gold despite being smothered by dust!!!
If you are opting for a life, unworthy and helplessly caught in the twists of fate, then it is beyond me to help you. If you are scared because of your past foibles and experiences of imperfection, you need to wake up, search within, look into yourself and drive away that sense of in-effectuation. You will be surprised to see that there are innumerable things, which you can perform with elan and ease! If you take the trouble of looking around yourself, you will find many people who lack capabilities like yours but are far more contented, happy and well off.

How can you afford to be unhappy? If this world has people who are merry, why can’t you join that group? If others are doing well, so can you. Failure does not mean that your value has diminished.

During a workshop, I took out a one thousand rupee note from my pocket and asked everyone as to who would like to take the same ? Everyone raised their hands. Than I folded that currency note times and again and then again asked all presents as to who would now like to have it? All of them again raised their hands. Now I threw that note on ground and put lot of dust and dirt over the same. With full zeal, I now asked, ‘Is there anyone here who would like to take this note from me even now’? I was so surprised to see that all present were still interested in taking that note from me.

Now I told them the theme of this exercise. A thousand rupee note, in however bad condition it may be - it’s value remain as one thousand rupee only. Friends! Just like that, you can not lose your value even if you have undergone multiple adversities and fell down many a times, provided you value your ownself in your own eyes.

The burning question is, do you want to live a life of self-respect? If yes, then free yourself from the chains of your past, maintain a decently high opinion about yourself and kick-start a new life in a new light. Stop making excuses, get rid of insignificant words like lose and win!

Just pledge to yourself—“ I will do what I can do,putting all my strength and passion into that work”

This would help you to cease worrying since  the results would prove beyond your expectations. Now the circumstances would bow before you  because this world worships the rising sun.
