India remained the second largest recipient of WTO (World Trade Organization) aid fortrade in 2009, receiving assistance of over $1.5 billion, even as global commitments to create physical and institutional infrastructure to multiply trade opportunities shot up to $40 billion, says a study.
The report, released on Monday, was jointly prepared by Paris based Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development and WTO
Clinton arrives for strategic dialogue
US secretary of state Hillary Clinton arrived here on Monday to attend the second round of IndoUS strategic dialogue on Tuesday when the situation in Afghanistan and Pakistan and cooperation in counterterrorism in the backdrop of recent Mumbai blasts will be discussed.
On a two day official visit to India, she is accompanied by 25member dele gation including top security officials in the US administration and will hold talks with her counterpart external affairs minister S.M. Krishna on a host of key bilateral, regional and international issues.
