NIIT Technologies buys Spanish IT firm

NIIT Technologies Ltd has acquired Madrid based Proyecta Sistemas de Informacion SA, a software services firm that specializes in the travel and financial services segments, for $7 million (`31.64 crore).
NIIT gets a significant portion of its revenue from these two segments.
The acquisition will bolster NIIT's presence overseas by providing access to Spanish speaking countries, including those in Latin America.

Kyocera Mita buys Kilburn division
Kyocera Mita India Pvt. Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Japan's Kyocera Group, has announced the acquisition of the copier division of Kilburn Office Automation Ltd for an undisclosed sum.
Kilburn is a distributor of Kyocera products and had a turnover of `60 crore last fiscal, out of which 54% was from the copier segment. Kyocera earned a revenue of `70 crore last fiscal and is targeting to take this to `250 crore by 2016.
