Girotra is India head at Nokia Siemens

Telecom equipment maker Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) on Monday said Sandeep Girotra will lead its business in India.
Girotra, who is responsible for a number of key customer accounts in India as a subregion head, will be based in Gurgaon and his appointment is effective from 1 October 2011, NSN said in a statement. PTI

The government on Monday said that not all companies need a policy for corporate social responsibility (CSR), unlike in the case of staterun firms.
“The government has not made it compulsory for every company to have a policy for CSR. However, the department of public sector enterprises has issued comprehensive CSR guidelines for central public sector enterprises in April 2010, minister of state for corporate affairs R.P.N. Singh said in a written reply to the Rajya Sabha.
According to the guidelines, state owned companies have to mandatory create, through a board resolution, a CSR budget by allocating a specified percent age of net profit of the previous year for the purpose
Hero Group enters hospitality sector
The OP Munjalled diversified business firm Hero Group has won a bid to develop a 3.9 acre five-star deluxe hotel in Gurgaon.
“Looking at the huge growth potential and dynamic social changes, we see a room for a high end hotel in this part of the NCR, “Hero Motors managing director Pankaj Munjal said.
